Experienced and talented chef Steven Grande has worked for many years in the United States, and has also travelled extensively, particularly in Asia. It is this expertise and knowledge of pan Asian and American cuisines that he intends to implement in his new role as Head Chef at the 5 star Le Touessrok Hotel Mauritius. Steven is really looking forward to creating exciting new dishes for guests dining at one of this 5 star resorts 12 restaurants and bars, including the Three Nine Eight restaurant where nine world cuisines are prepared in eight open kitchens.

Our new Head Chef Steven loves creating new dishes around a main ingredient and he will mix Western cuisines with the famous Mauritian seafood of which he is a big fan . The abundance of fresh fish in Mauritius will supply inspiration and exotic flavours to Steven’s dishes. His inspiration is already reflected in the new restaurant menu at Barlen located on the stunning beach at Le Touessrok.
